Intelligent Flexibility with Rob Aranyosi

Stretching is a highly controversial topic and the main thing we must know is that it shouldn’t hurt, or even feel uncomfortable.

In this two-part workshop led by Rob Aranyosi, you will get the knowledge and practical application you need to develop flexibility in a healthy and sustainable way.

Physiology of Flexibility: The first section of this workshop is all about understanding what is really happening in our bodies when we stretch, and how different stretching techniques affect our muscle & fascia. We will unpack some of the greatest misconceptions of stretching that lead to constant overstretching, lack of gaining range of motion, and injury. This is mostly lecture based with a small portion of practical application.

Myofascial Integrated Stretching: The second section of this workshop is an up to date scientific approach to intelligent stretching that will help you increase range of motion in a safe, efficient and sustainable way. This method was developed by Dylan Werner and is a holistic approach that incorporates both dynamic movement and static stretches.

You will leave this workshop with the confidence and understanding of how to incorporate this knowledge into any yoga practice you take, and how to develop your own stretching routine you can do on your own.
